Community Curation
Beginning in Spring 2020, Soul Owner will showcase four community curated exhibitions yearly. Curatorial proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed by our curatorial panel in Fall 2019 (for Spring/Summer 2020 exhibitions) and Spring 2020 (for Fall/Winter 2020 exhibitions).

Curatorial Proposals
A strong curatorial proposal will be clear and concise, present innovative and engaging ideas, and will intend to draw a diverse group of participants and visitors. Soul Owner does not exclude artists and curators from outside the Midsouth, however our primary focus is presenting local emerging artists and curators. Furthermore, we do not exclude solo exhibitions, however our primary focus is including as many artists as possible in our exhibitions and programs.
Review Process
Curatorial proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis (meaning you can submit at any time) and reviewed by our curatorial panel in Fall 2019 (for Spring/Summer 2020 exhibitions) and Spring 2020 (for Fall/Winter 2020 exhibitions). The Initial Review materials are listed below. Curators may be asked to submit further details and images if a follow-up review is needed. Submissions are currently free (yay!) however, there may be a small (like $10) fee as we near closer to the review date.
